I was both saddened and yet, at the same time pleased, when I learned of your recent stemcell transplant. I share some great of our Freshman year together when I switched my major to Ray Charles. I am even more encouraged now that I read you are up, getting stronger and now have a letter from Charle Weiss! I will stay in touch with you and plan to see you at the 50th, if not sooner. I am even more encouraged now that I read you are up, getting stronger and now

We're still reserving you a place in the beer tent at the ND Class of '66 reunion the weekend of June 1-4. Arlis hasn't returned my Gulfstream yet but I can certainly arrange for transportation befitting a celebrity like yourself. I wonder if Bill Contos (Chez Paul) still has that Saudi Arabian Rolls Royce that Oelerich brought to an ND game a while back??!! Keep up the good work and hope to see you soon.
